Equipment (Cornwall Kinsmen Girls Softball Association)

All players are to provide their own glove & helmet with full face cage. Cleats are optional, however no metal cleats are allowed in any age division. At the beginning of the season players will receive a jersey. Full uniform must be worn for all games.  Full uniform consists of ball jersey and black ball shorts or black ball pants.

KMGS provides each team with a couple sets of age appropriate catcher equipment and balls. For those playing in the U15 & U21 divisions, KMGS will also be providing 3 infielder face masks per team for those who want to wear them while pitching and/or playing 1st and 3rd bases. At the U21 level, we strongly recommend that players playing 1st and 3rd wear the protective face mask.

Players can also use their own bats - we recommend the following bat sizes based on age division of the player:

9u - 26-28 inch x 15-17oz
11u - 28-30 inch x 16-19oz
13u - 30-32 inch x 17-21oz
15u - 32-34 inch x 19-24oz
17u-21u - 33-34 inch x 21-26 oz
